Comments Thread For: Subriel Matias Not Overly Impressed With Teofimo Lopez: "He's OK"

Whether anyone in the super lightweight division wanted to admit it or not, but Josh Taylor was the man to beat. From 2018-2022, the 32-year-old went on a run that's seldom seen. During that stretch, Taylor scored wins against Ryan Martin, Ivan Baranchyk, Apinun Khongsong, Jack Catterall, Jose Ramirez, and Regis Prograis. All of those aforementioned fighters were undefeated by the way.

That would be a perfect fight for MSG, for the PR Parade Day Weekend!

I'd like to see this matchup. Boxer puncher vs swarming puncher. Teo can probably outbox Matias, but it won't be easy. Matias pressure is nuts. Let's make it happen at MSG. I'd be there.

Teofimo will probably lose to Matias, then move up and wash Bud Crawford.

The unlicensed promoter of boxing has spoken, they would sell out the joint, and I'd love to see that fight as soon as possible.
I believe that Matias would knockout Teofimo in the latter rounds of the fight, after a grueling battle of wills between them.

The MSG would be sold out, in no time flat!

Out of all the match ups at 140, this is the one that interests me the most.

Matias talks a lot for a guy with no major wins.
