Canelo fought the top fighters he had to fight. Every big fight the fans wanted him in, he took. Risky fights, mega fights, just plain fights vs top 10 contenders. Canelo also never hid behind promoters and networks. He bounced around to make fights happen. From GBP, to DAZN, to PBC. He’s a fighter that makes other fighters look bad, those fighters that hide behind promoters and networks for years, then come out when the coast is clear. When everyone is past their best.

The only fight left for him, which i’m disappointed it wasn’t next after GGG III, is Benavidez.

Crawford on the other hand, hid behind Top Rank/ESPN, fighting bums for years, missing out on top fights because he kept resigning to TR.

I’m gonna disagree with Crawford, he also beat Mauricio Sulaiman to the point he came out in defense of a failed PED user. That’s actually his biggest win to date. Canelo and his fans can suck a giant sausage. Cheat once and you and the word greatness don’t belong in the same sentence.

Past their best, shall we name the litany of fighters he fought past their best? Mosley, Golovkin 3 (after he marinated the three fights til they went nearly putrid), Kovalev, I can go on. Y’all talk about this man fought this and that guy, sure while also taking every advantage in negotiating and being doped up to the gills. How about we talk about that PED testing farm of Reynoso? The only two fighters he legitimately took on in their prime were Lara and MAYWEATHER. The former because he humiliated Canelo into fighting him. Not by choice but out of pride. This dude has nearly sixty fights and five legitimate inarguable names on his resume. Fools get enamored with a boxer and forget context.

just keeping his name out there is all, that is what they do now to take any or most of what is printed by mostly quoting out of context to get some rise out of a fan or what not is all this and most daily write ups are all about It is considered fun talk imaginary boxing or anything else you might label it as.

Canelo also beat cotto and kovalev both great fighters so whoever this crawford mouthpiece is obviously didn’t really look. Mosley is a great fighter who canelo also beat. Add in his loss to bivol who is great and I’d consider lara also a great fighter along with mayweather their resumes aren’t comparable. It’s not even close.

Canelo should be shown respect for doing more for boxing than anyother fighter over the the last ten years, bringing casuals to the sport, buds dog should understand his master hasn't and will not be capable of such things

A case can be made that Alvared lost to Cotto, Lara and Trout. Triple G actually beat him in the first and second fights. Mosley was old and Kovalev was a burnt out weak punching bag

Ya but everyone crawford been in with was a bum Cept Porter and Brook who ironically fought crawford in their retirement fights lol. Canelo has fought better competition and MUCH higher level opponents than Ricky burns and julius indongo. Even Plant and BJS make those guys look like amateurs
