Whaddya know? It's here again. My favorite week of the year. OK, maybe it's a few pegs behind the days that surround my wife and son's birthdays, our wedding anniversary and Christmas -- but it's still pretty darn big.

The greatest win of all time IMO. Aside from maybe Ray Robinson no other Welterweight past or present would’ve beaten Hearns that night.

What happened that night was special. You had 2 top fighters in their prime fight and give their all. Both fighters and spectators won that fight. These days top guys are afraid to fight each other and that is sad for the sport of boxing. It's ashame that a lot of boxing fans have to go back 42 years to find a fight of the decade when we could have so many more of those type of fights today of money and promoter squabbles didn't stand in the way.
