Bernard Hopkins told the Associated Press that if Jermain Taylor does not accept his offer of $1.5 million to fight him on July 16th, the fight will never happen. Hopkins gave Taylor 24 hours to accept the offer or else he was likely going to face top middleweight Felix Sturm. [details]

That was fair. If Taylor wants his shot now he should have taken it. Who cares if he has to fight a couple fights for Oscar after? Oscar is a good promoter and will make him some money. Then he can go back to whoever he friggin wants. -
You know what stuff Hopkins he thinks Jermain is a fool. I hope they don't fight that will leave Hopkins looking like a fool, who is he gonna fight Strum WOW
He is not going to Fight Soliman, if he does he would be a joke and i know that he is avoiding the big fights ie Taylor, Trindad, Johnson, Calzaghe
The guy is a bully who needs taken down a peg, since his is a promoter now why not over Jermain Taylor 2.5 millon since he is the Heir Apparent and done a better job on joppy than Hopkins, the new face of HBO,
Trindad vs Hopkins will not happen no matter whatComment

I don't think i.5 million is a good price! I mean, first of all, I think Taylor and his camp know darn well that he's not ready for Hopkins. He's still too green and needs a few more fights before that happens. I don't think 1.5 million is enough money to tarnish a perfect record.Comment

This is a fair enough deal. B-hop is a busy man and if he doesnt take it a sturm fight will be more exciting.Comment

I'd rather see him fight Sturm, but Taylor is cool too.
I'd also like to see Hopkins Vs two strippers and a mountain lion.
That would easily make fight of the year.Comment
