He looks like the real deal. You can knock his competion, but then again he fights at 160 and there is no one there who's any good anyway. -
This guy has gotten a lot of hype & all he's done is bash a few shot 154lbers...
I don't get it.
The tools APPEAR to be there.....but lots of guys look like they have tools when they're punching heavy bags.
I think when this kid faces someone who isn't over-powered by him, has some defense, & the ability to fire back...he may be in big trouble.Comment

I agree with you on this one jabs. Taylor isn't going to be ready for Hopkins or Tito if he doesn't step it up. I don't think Joppy has enough left to answer any questions of Taylor but if he does have one last good fight and fights smart he can definitely test and even beat Taylor.Originally posted by jabsRstiffThis guy has gotten a lot of hype & all he's done is bash a few shot 154lbers...

It wouln't be a test Tito would beat him. Taylor may go up early on the scorecards the way David Reid did but like in the Reid fight Tito will come on in the middle and late rounds to beat Taylor by decision but more likely TKO. Taylor just isn't ready for Tito.Originally posted by dansweeneyid love to see taylor in the ring with tito, what better test then that?Comment

I think Jermain has the goods. I like the way he keeps increasing his level of comp. He's only had 21 fights and people are knocking him for not fighting good opponents!??!?!? The guy has only been a pro since 2001! What about Hatton who's had 30+ fights? Joppy is a good test for Jermain and I think if he wins this and another fight against a top 5 contender he may be ready for a title shot.Comment
