Say a guy like Luevano makes 300k a fight.

How much of that does he take home?

And what % does his promoter, manager, taxes etc...take away?

    Whats the overall breakdown.

A lot of these figures are misleading because people may think that fighters take the whole amount to themselves.

Apply this to anyone else too. Like for instance, if Manny is "guaranteed" 20 mill for the Cotto fight, what does he net and how much of the 20 mill do the rest of his conspirators get?

I find this fascinating and if anyone could give a clear picture it would be much appreciated.

I can't find the article but I once read that they have to pay a lot to managers, promoters, trainers, etc. And they end up getting about 35%, if I remember correctly.

It depends on the contract. But in California a manager can get as high as 33.3% and the trainer get about 15% or more. Honestly, It all depends on the contract..

But the fighter always gets paid first and then deductions from manager and trainer is taken from fighters purse. Promoter makes what is basically left over from the show... not from fighters purse.

Is there an industry standard for elite level fighters like Rafa or Izzy?

What do they take home after all is deducted assuming each of them make 1 million bucks from a fourth fight?

Be honest Frankie. We really wanna know.
