Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia Is Hoping For One Final Championship Reign Before Hanging 'Em Up
At times, even during the middle of a conversation, Danny Garcia stops what he's doing and smiles. Some may view it as strange behavior but there's a reason behind it.

Garcia was a talented fighter at 140lbs
he hit like the devil at the weight and beat great competition. However his run at 147 is much less impressive. He over performed in his career. He lost all his big fights at 47 yet still managed to be financially secure. With all that being said, I don't think with his style nowadays beats Lara. Garcia thinks this is a cherry pick then he's wrong. Even at Lara's advanced stage of his career, beats DSG by boring majority decision.
Forget the 'hard luck, came from nothing stories'.
Danny Garcia proved his self to be a PBC created diva, who fought 3rd rate fighters for most of his career, and then fought in-house stable mates when he and they ran out of tomato cans they fought each other to keep belts in house.
Its a little late to be thinking about 'legacy' when the PBC M. O. was to do pay per views with weak competition.
None of these guys have a Hall Of Fame legacy, because they ducked all fights that did not take place on twitter.
Tank Davis although he can fight, is a prime example of this because he rarely fight up to his level.

3rd rate? Hmm. As an underdog he faced prime versions of Khan, Mathysse, Thurman, Porter and Spence. Name one fighter currently fighting that has faced better prime opposition in their career. The only recent one is probably Kell Brook and he’s retired.
Danny isn't beating Lara. His feet are too slow and heavy he clearly is far less skilled than the Cuban. I have a better chance of ****ing Miss Universe on Friday night. Lara will smack Danny like a rented mule for twelve boring rounds.
You see, this profession is filled to the brim with unrealistic mother****ers. Mother****ers who thought their ass would age like wine. If you mean it turns to vinegar, it does. If you mean it gets better with age, it don't. - Marsellus
