How did I over hype him? please explain. Or is it what I said about Pac's level not being that much higher than Cotto's.

Their comp is tough, I actually think Cotto has fought the tougher competition in recent fights but I think stylistically Cottos timing will not beat Mannys speed. Both Cotto and Pacquiao are rather good at timing, but Manny also is great with his fast feets. Unless Cotto works on his own feet speed, I don't see him winning.

Voted Pac because if he did not blew through his past 3 opponents. We would never consider pitting him against the top WW. The de la Hoya fight should be the exception because of the money factor.

But on account of those last 3 fights, I'm thinking a 51/49 chance for Pac to win. I know I voted for Pac as the underdog but odds should really be in favor of Cotto. Pac has more unanswered question at WW than Cotto but IMO, pac is the better fighter.

I picked Cotto 'cause I see ALOT of people saying Pac will win an easy fight.
Even I'm starting to think Pac will win although I do know this is a 50/50 fight.

i dont know if a win over the other can be considered an upset in this fight.

both fighters have the capability of beating the other guy.

                    pac has speed
cotto has the power and timing

an upset is only considered if a fighter almost has all the advantages or has a significant number of advantages over the other fighter and still win.
                    (ex: pac-dlh)

Cotto is the underdog, so if he wins, it's an upset.
