Canelo threads always bring out the most ridiculous posts. If Boxingscene had a forum for YDKSAB, itd be full of Canelo lovers and haters postings.

Never believed? Since when were you relevant for him to want to believe in you? That's a gay ass comment.

Has Any of these guys beat all other. Mungia, Benavidez, Andrade, David Morrell.
So you can't say any of them are the best as well.
I think benavidez is the top dog at 168, plant, saunders nor smith has nothing on him. By the way, canelo went after the belts only when benavidez lost his. And now doesn't want to defend against him.

Correcrt, you think. Plus if Benavidez beats Canelo then he won't be the best. To be the best you have to beat the best, and according to you Canelo is not the best. He would still need to beat Andrade and Morrell.

That's part of the problem, the best are not fighting the best. Ideally canelo should have fought benavidez already, and andrade vs Morrell Jr too. The winner of each fight should be facing each other, and then defend the belts against the other youngsters coming up. And I think, nobody can say and be 100% sure that this or that fighter is better without facing each other, so yes I think.

If that was the case Champion would not last and get burned out in couple of years, example UFC Champions. Their careers would be shorter than they already are for some.

That's not true, back in the day boxers would fight 10 times a year, with of course the stay busy fights in between the high risky ones, and their careers were lengthy ones. I think the last two elite fighters with 100+ fights are JCCC and Roberto Duran, canelo is the closest and he wouldn't get to that amount. Hagler in an span of 4 o 5 years fought Minter, Duran, Hearns, Mugabi, Obelmejias twice, Hamsho twice, Briscoe, Leonard, Scypion, Antuofermo twice. Duran fought in an 18 months period, more of less, Benitez, Cuevas, Moore, Hagler and Hearns. Are you telling me that saunders, smith and plant are comparable to those guys I mentioned? The only one that belongs in that list is bivol. Not too long ago, pacquio fought a murderers row in a 5/6 years span, morales twice, Barrera twice, Marquez four times, that is 8 fights against first ballot HOF.

I just read the first sentence. Back in the day, we are not back in the day no more.

Another problem then. Boxing is still boxing.
