Comments Thread For: Jack Catterall Focused: "I Can't Overlook Jorge Linares"

Jorge Linares isn't the spry young fighter that he once was. At the age of 38, he's seen better days. Yet, even with three consecutive losses underneath his belt, the now fringe contender isn't interested in hanging up his gloves.

You probably can. Jorge is washed. I really hope he retires.

I thought Jack Catterall was different but he's not, he is hand picking beatable opponents and trying to sell them as if he's fighting Subriel Matias.

Linares was never among the elite at 140. He's had only one fight there in recent years, I believe. And he was stopped in one round.

I like Linares, but I think he's way over the hill.
            One foot into retirement mode.
If he had decent English he may do well in analysis and commentating fights, but he's got horrible English.
