A 22 foot ring is almost twice the size of a 16 foot ring or phone booth. If you are promoting a brawler only fight in 16 foot rings with guys who are not brawlers. Your guy will look like a all time great. It will fool some boxing fans and probably enough to think the guy deserves a title shot. But in a 22 foot ring a brawler will really need some skills to win, unless the opponent is a stiff.
