    Yup, they should have made him champ in recess more than a year ago.

    Decent solution for situations like this, Haney's or serious injuries, just it should come with a 1 year deadline to request a title fight

      No more fake tiitles. He should have been stripped at the moment he was unable to defend against the mandatory loooooong ago.

          Charlo is one lucky man I tell u that. Holding belt for more than 2 years ,no defenses and not getting stripped. I bet Mauricio will let him do a tuneup or two before ordering the Adames fight. Definitely not happening this year.

              Because the plan is to feed him to Canelo after Mell gets beaten. If he did that, then he would have to fight someone else when he returned.

                None of those are physical titles. That essentially would be stripping him, it just means he gets a shot when he returns.

                  I don't think luck has anything to do with it. PBC is leaning on Sulaiman. PBC is good to their boxer's but a bit of a disaster for boxing.
