Rahman wasn't asking for the 3rd fight, so, no .... there was no need. If he had, then yes, there should have been a 3rd fight. In Ruiz's case everyone acknowledges he went on a joy-binge and was in no condition to contest anything in the rematch. It was dumb and unprofessional but it happened. The 2nd fight was a gift to AJ. The 3rd fight will mean the most to both men, their legacies, and the fight community.
