Barrios works at the same gym as Israel Vazquez. Trust me he wants to fight Valero.

He has been licensed to fight in Texas for a while and Top Rank recently got him a licence to fight in Nevada as well. He would have fought on the Pac-Cotto undercard in Vegas if it weren't for the fact that he was refused a visa to go there.

Exactly what I was thinking but add JMM onto that list as well. That would show whether he can step into Pacquiao's shoes in the near future or not and become a megastar.

Barrios would be Valero's best opponent yet. That said, Valero by 4 or 5th round K.O.

That articel doesn't say they got him a license.

It says they are working hard in getting him one.

Man, Put that Valero into action soon! He's been idle for a long time while I think he is competitive even against JMM!
