I initially believed Cotto would win by KO round 6....But I have changed my mind,
I believe Cotto will KO Pac in 4 rounds or less.

But yea man, a lot of people were riding hard (pause) for Pacquiao because of how he KO'd Hatton. But anyone who sits there and let's himself be hit are gonna fall the same way. Cotto doesn't have the best defense, but he also isn't the type of dude Pac's going to voluntarily throw bombs at while standing right in front of him. Don't get it twisted, Pac is fast, but he can't and won't outbox Cotto for 12 rounds because that aint his style. Pac fights. Let's see how well he takes the punches from Cotto because they'll indeed be landing.

I agree. To a degree. Cottos shots will undoubtedly land and the big (?) is can Pac take them (i think he will take them fine) If he does...then what? If Pacquiao throws non stop,bell to bell Cotto wont be able to land at will. Cotto will have to land a holy **** that hurt punch and get Pac to slow down and take advantage of it. I disagree that Cotto will out box Pac for 12...Thats not really accurate there. Pac dont have a stamina issue. Hes a non stop throwing punches in bunches for 12rd fighter. Cotto slows down in the later rounds. Also Cotto dictating the pace (which he usually does in his fights) will be a win for Cotto. Its very unlikely Cotto will dictate the fight and make Manny fight his fight. What makes Cotto have a chance IMO is hes Strong and one TOUGH dude Hes not a KO artist but he can get the job done or get his guy out of there. He wont beat Pacs out put in punches thrown or landed. He wont out box Pac. He needs to cut the ring down and try to catch Pac or it will be a long night for Cotto. Also dont underestimate Pac,s punching power too. hes not a 130 lbs . Indeed gonna be a great fight no matter who wins...Both fighters are bad ass in my book

But yeah, all three are naturally bigger than PAC, but none of 'em have that overrall skill and ability that PAC possesses these days. I like Cotto in this one as well, but, it's a winnable fight for PAC.

nope still 60/40 for cotto to win. i predict flash knock downs on pac because he fights on his toes. cotto will be to much for pac. all you have to do is watch the marquez and morales fights to get an idea of what cotto can do to pac. people are talking about pac wins by ko withing 3-6rd but i think its the other way around.

i have 2 thoughts on this fight to be honest....

i can see pacman coming out an just blitzing cotto ad maybe stopping him within 3 rounds...another part of me thinks cotto will just stay tight attack the body and not trade with pacman..then in the later rounds drown pacquiao and stop him late on

It's amazing how people overlooked him recently.

Remember before or even after Pac-DLH? There were threads were people said "What about Pac-Cotto?" And mostly everyone in those threads laughed and said Pac doesnt belong in with a true WW like Cotto. Then People watch Pac's 24/7 and see him KO Hatton and think all the sudden he's unstoppable, lol. I see people saying "Pac will just go in there and be so fast for Cotto omg Cotto wont catch him and hes going to murder Cotto" < based on his last win. Cotto is "done or wont beat Pac cause" < based on his last win he looked bad despite ignorning the fact he had a bad cut againest a way bigger guy whos actually good with defense. While I'm not going to sit here and say Cotto will murder Pac, I believe he wins for the skillset and toughness Cotto brings - and Cotto knows hes the underdog and wants to be back on top. His jab is the key to the fight - mark my words.
