Is FLOYD MAYWEATHER most overrated fighter in boxing history? POLL

cotto and mosley dodged him. how about you pick a bone with the proper person. its not mays fault they avoided himyes at 130 and 135 the problem is that 140 he did not faced any legit elite 140 or 147. He evn fought Hatton @ 147.
So I can't tell. It really bothers me he hasn't faced any legit Elite WW when he is more popular than ever. HE only fought Judah in a boxing match and still got drop where Cotto beat that ass.Comment

I think it depends how you rate Floyd. If rate him like he does, as the G.O.A.T? Then yes he is overrated. If you rate him ahead of Sugar Ray Leonard? Then yes he is overrated. IMO he has ATG talent, ATG defense, ATG boxing IQ, ATG skills but if you rate him as a for sure ATG fighter. Than IMO he is overrated. I think he is borderline ATG. I think he is the most talented, skillfull of fighter of his era. However, that alone does not make you an ATG. You need to prove it, you need to take rist, and fight the toughest fights out there. And, he has not done that in the last 6yrs.Comment

You know you're dealing with a hugger when they say "you pick a bone" when you're really just stating facts.
When was the last time Floyd fought a legit WW? Whatever answer you give is a fact. And that's all Floyd's detractors are stating - FACTS.Comment

no he is not overated
floyds fans might think very highly of him but thats alright because they are his fans. you should expect casual fans to overate him to because they are not hardcore fight fans. but with the amount of hate floyd receives it counter balance itself (hate vs overating)
outside of his fans, boxing fans reconize floyd for his talent. and the greatness he showed at 130 135 weight class. since then he has been very selective about his opponents and most boxing fans notice that.Comment

Well said. I, myself, is a frustrated PBF fan. This guy has all the skills to beat anyone, I mean anyone. Floyd's highlights make my day as a boxing fan. But the fact is, he hasn't fought a legit or top WW recently. And that is frustrating.no he is not overated
