Comments Thread For: Jose Ramirez-Arnold Barboza: September 19 Purse Bid Scheduled For Ordered IBF Title Eliminator

A purse bid date has been assigned for a proposed title eliminator that stands less than a great chance to see the light of day. For the second time this summer, a Jose Ramirez-Arnold Barboza fight has been ordered by a sanctioning body to enter talks. The latest development came as a surprise to many in the industry when the IBF revealed that a September 19 hearing was scheduled to determine promotional rights for the junior welterweight final eliminator.

Barboza and Ramirez are #1 and #2 with WBO. They don't want Matias, they want Teofimo Lopez!

Ramirez already ducked Regis too. And it looks like Haney is ducking Regis as well

Its ironic Barboza had to leave TR to get a big fight with a TR guy.

Haney should absolutely duck Regis for a low money fight on an app no one watches. He should be trying to get the Tank fight on Showtime Ppv!

Was Haneys choice to move up and he picked Regis. You're right though, better fight at 135 imo

I hope not, but it's not looking good! Now if Haney fights Teofimo, I'll forgive him!

I hope Barboza wins. Ramirez ducked Prograis and Barboza has had the long road to a title shot he still has not gotten.
