I saw a Spanish interview with Subriel Matias. He said Ergashev stepped way over the line when he said for Matias to say his final goodbyes to his family. It pissed him off. He emphatically said he is going to punish Ergashev and knock him out. I think Ergashev tried to punk the wrong guy and instead poked the bear.

That is WAY over the line. I hope he batters the hell out of Erg and punishes him for bringing Matias' family into an insult like that. I'd love to see Erg's eye swollen shut for what he said.

I saw the weigh-in for their fight, and Ergashev was definitely trying to intimidate Matias.
Then I remembered that Ergashev had previously made a statement to the media that Matias should kiss his family goodbye.
As if he is going to kill him in the ring when they meet, obviously he's trying to use reverse psychology on Matias, since Matias has caused the death of another fighter.
This put's a whole new wrinkle on this fight tonight, because Matias is going to come in more motivated for this fight than any other fight in his career.
Now I'm going to go with Matias by knockout somewhere in the middle to late rounds of this particular fight.
