I really like Ugas but how is he fighting for an interim belt against Barrios ? It has to be a cash grab by the wbc to secure sanctioning fees because how can anyone look at Barrios or Ugas as world champion material? Both men got absolutely pummeled in recent contests.

I've realized the fighters give the belts credibility not the other way around like it should be. Spence and Crawford give those welterweight titles the aura of world championships, so it should be the sanctioning bodies paying the fighters.

Ugas earned the right to fight for an Interim Belt, IF HE WAS FIGHTING THURMAN!!! Barrios should not even be mentioned with the word "Champion!" WBC is all f-d up!!!
