The way I see it, in the ring, Bud just consistently made the right moves at the right times, picked the right punches, and was better in every department, and that means he's going to do the same thing to Errol at any weight. If Errol is stronger at 154, it just means he'll be able to take more punishment, because he's still going to get hit just as much. Bud had no trouble timing or landing on Errol, with any punch in the book. He's sharper, processes much faster than Errol, his eyes are too good, so even if Errol goes hard to tighten his defense, Bud, will always be able to find him. All he needs is the smallest mistake or opening, and a fraction of a second. And he knows how to cause Errol to make mistakes. Errol doesn't have Bud figured out or even understood, in the same manner. He was well trained for this fight, and him and his team displayed confidence and even arrogance right up to the opening bell. Only after the fight started, did Team Spence realize they had a problem. After the fight, weight became an issue. It was used by his team and others, to start spinning a face saving narrative. Same thing they did with Deontay when he was outboxed by Fury their 1st fight. They said they really won because they dropped him twice, even though Wilder lost 10 rds. Then after the 2nd fight, they said Fury was juiced up because he came forward. And then a million other excuses came even blaming Wilder's trainer. Errol just lost man, he got flexed on, plain and simple, same thing like Willder vs Fury. Wilder just got styled on, period. When ur with PBC getting tailor made fights to build ur brand, and u finally fight somebody who can really box, of course ur gonna underestimate them like Errol and Wilder both did, because u start to believe the hype that was built around u by your team. You forget that u never fought a master boxer b4. U weren't prepared for a boxing lesson, u were too used to the statiionary targets, the human punching bags, the slow feet, the intimidated opponents, the front runners, the survivors, guys who were inactive, past their prime, or otherwise impaired. Ur conditioning was fine, but the game plan wasn't. U thought u could just march forward and **** Bud out. So did many others. Thats proof that even pros don't know what they're looking at sometimes when it comes to boxing. Bud is underestimated by many, even after this performance. Crazy
exactly! you see it. Everybody in the pbc camp all have the same talking points/excuses. they can't cope with the fact that a pbc fighter just got destroyed so easily. Especially by an outside fighter! (non pbc fighter)

He's gonna get beat up at 154 just the same. He would have got beat up 4 years ago just the same as well.

In three weeks, Crawford will be 36 years old. An 'old' 36. You can gas him up with biochemistry - but cognitive & reflexive & speed are diminishing, never to be recovered.
