It's the other way round. Wilder way back asked for a rematch clause. Then, when he got it, he screamed and said he wanted it to be a one fight deal. Now he's come out recently again and said he wants a rematch to take place in Nigeria.

Only one has fought absolute garbage his whole career and hoped a shot Fury wouldn't be good enough to beat him.

Eddie isn't trying to sign him. Again, like others on this thread, it's the made up fantasies as per usual.

They DON''T NEED TO WAIT FOR ANYBODY. What's really going on here, is AJ wants his retirement check in the bank before he fights DW, that's how terrified they are of the fight.
Only one of them has been terrified of fighting the other. And it isn't AJ. AJ is on board. Claiming he won't fight until the money is in his bank account is nothing more than something you've made up in your head. There isn't even a hint of anything you could offer throughout his career. The same though, cannot be said about Wilder.

Another round of nonsense "negotiating" from hearn with Wilder. They can make fights with Jermain Franklin and Robert Helenius in hours, but can never make a simple deal to fight Wilder. It's almost time to move on ..... again. And of course the hearniac fan-girls are full of excuses, name-calling, etc. against Wilder. It's really all a ridiculous circus. Next!

War of the washed has-beens. And this blowhard and his mythical Nigerian Prince £ still can’t close the deal. But boy does he keep on talking!

Has anyone else noticed that AJ consistently says he wants Wilder next and that was the plan all along this year after the fight with Whyte which turned into the fight with Helenius?
I wonder why they both juiced to fight Joshua? Clearly they were worried about something.
I honestly think anything could happen in the potential AJ/Wilder fight. Wilder has immense power in one hand and could knock AJ cold early or AJ, who has better fundamentals and power, could time Wilder with a good shot and put him down. The problem is AJ is so tentative nowadays that if he waits too long for Wilder to fade, he could be staring up at the lights on the canvas before that has the possibility of happening.
It doesn't seem like Wilder is in any rush to fight Joshua. All he talks about is Ruiz wanting too much money. Why not go right into the Joshua fight and make it 50/50? They're both faded ex-champions. Whoever wins stays relevant. Whoever loses is closer to retirement or journeyman/gatekeeper status.

Of course Eddy isn't trying to sign Wilder, but he has you so confused you'll argue that I believe he is after I just told you he wasn't. I know you like to argue, but can you quit agreeing with me.

I hate when I have to explain a joke, Syd, when I said Eddy has been trying to sign Wilder for ten years, that was sarcasm. You saying no he wasn't, is like, hello? Is anybody in there?

Yeah, you were sure saying Eddie isn't trying to sign Wilder. Silly me to think the weirdo's would think anything of the sort.
