Amanda called for just that in one of the press conference's in the lead up to her her fight against Taylor.
Taylor brushed it off as some kind of promotional or theatrical stunt, she didn't want no part of that.
Seeing as how bloodied, and confused as Taylor ended up after 10, 2 minute rounds, it was a very wise decision on her part.

It's the 3 minutes per round as a opposed to the current 2 minute rounds, that her opponents will have to endure prior to getting to the end of her fight's.
That will be that much more grueling for her opponents to endure, that will make the difference in her fights going forward.
I'm looking for Serrano to start scoring more knockout's in her future fight's, because 3 minutes are a lot more demanding than 2 minutes, especially when it comes fighting.

it was a stunt because the fight was already agreed and signed, she never mentioned it when talks were taking place lol

While it might not be better for her, it'll be way worse for her opponent's, that's just my take on this particular subject.
That said you have a keen mind about boxing as your comments have shown as much, so your opinion is respected.

Bad idea to make women's boxing more dangerous. It won't prove that women are "equal" to men--it will just get more women KOd and brain-damaged. Ever wonder why men's boxing was reduced to 12 rds? More fatal KOs in 15 rounders.

Shows how dumb this is she won’t get paid any more for an extra 12 minutes

The extra minute for 3 rounds will make an effect. Other fighters she has faced have survived because of the short time.

But it is a different pace and it is something that she has to get used to at this point in her career. Who knows if she does three minutes during training.

I'm not certain, but I do believe that she does, and she also spars with her male counterparts in the gym.
That's definitely true about her opponents being saved by the bell, or the short 2 minute rounds, your accuracy has earned my respect.
