The battle between undisputed champions Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo will take place Sept. 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Showtime pay-per-view. The matchup will take place at 168 pounds, as Charlo will jump up two weight classes for the clash.

That's information that Jermell Charlo should keep to himself, not putting it out on social media.

All he has to do is come in at 160.1, literally, to make weight. Don't balloon too high and lose your speed.

He is going to get stopped. We all know it. Canelo is past it, but he didn't pull an inactive guy with an injury up two weight classes for nothing, the guy is chasing greatness. And when he realized that greatness was not happening against guys at his current natural fight weight of 175, he is now chasing greatness against ring rusted guys he can bully.

Canelo's chin is ridiculous, his one actual great quality. Charlo hasn't got the power to hurt him at 168 and Charlo is going to get stopped.

Greatness is elusive. But Canelo will not give up, he will keep chasing it.

Charlo will fight well for three rounds, then fade, his corner will pull him out

I'm not certain, but I thought he recently said he walks around at 200.

I dont believe Charlo "walks around at 168" like he is claiming.

Youre telling me from start of training camp, plus fight week water cutting, is only 14 pounds for him? thats bullchit. spence has claimed he gets to upper 180s and hes smaller than charlo.

You're certainly wrong, he said he doesn't get that big. More like 175-180

He can come in at whatever he wants.... as long as it is under 168. He can come in at 138 if he wants to.
