Comments Thread For: Adam Azim Once Again Goes Ten-Round Distance, Outpoints Aram Fanyan

Adam Azim went the ten-round distance for the second straight time. Seven months after a six-fight knockout streak was brought to a halt, Azim once again went to the cards in a sound, unanimous decision victory over Ukraine's Aram Fanyan. Scores of 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92 all landed in favor of Azim in their Sky Sports Box Office chief support Saturday at AO Arena in Manchester, England.

Defo was not a draw. The ukranian was swinging and misssing a lot that doesn't get you points. Azim had him hurt a few times. The other guy was trying to be aggressive doesn't mean he was landing the cleaner shots was a lot of wild shots. Azim won. And its a good fight for his experience. He kos someone people will claim its a bum he goes pts people will claim hes over rated. He's only just turned 21 he's got plenty of time to get better and learn from fights

Didn't know Azims mother was a poster on here. Azim is terrible and he will continue to fight feather fisted fighters with padded records

that fight last night should have been the opening fight not the "co main event"

If promoters push these non interesting fights then people are going to critisize and you just need to accept that my friend.

It was closer to a draw. Faniyan was never hurt, let alone dropped. Azim was the one that got caught a few times, he did nothing but jab n miss for half the rounds, you got it the other way around. Effective aggression does matter (counter punching, pressing forward, et), I can’t take you seriously. Doesnt make you or the judges right. The fight proved that Azim has trouble with experienced fighters and was overhyped to win. And if you ask my opinion I don’t see how he gets far unfortunately. Get real.

Think Azim is a bit one dimensional and lacks power. He can knock out bums, but not anybody with a chin. Drops his lead hand too much for my liking,he doesn’t have the defensive skill to get away with that against better opponents.

But he is very young, plenty of time to develop. They seem to be rushing him a bit, he’s no Naz who had power that was a danger to anybody.
