Can Andrade upset Benavidez?

I wouldn’t even see this as an upset, I have this a 50-50 fight.

We don’t know much about Andrade at the top level, as his whole career has been Canelo or bust. He turned down other fights that would make his resume look good if he had beaten those guys. For example Charlo, Lara, and Zhanibek. His supporters have labeled him a hard to beat boogeyman, with imaginary wins over the great fighters of his era.

Reality: Before Mayweather got the big DLH fight, the big payday, he had beaten top 10 ranked fighters throughout 130-147. He took on the fights that got him noticed, he headlined PPV’s, and he took what DLH offered him. Never pulled out of fights or acted like a diva when given the chance to get the big one.

Now as far as him upsetting Benavidez, absolutely it can happen. Benavidez hasn’t shown anything that says he’s this super dangerous fighter. His resume is better than Amdrade’s, he’s fought better opponents, and he’s looked vulnerable but that’s what happens when you fight top guys. I think Benavidez will win. But his fights vs Gavril and Plant show he can be outboxed by the right fighter. Idk if Andrade is that guy, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
