Comments Thread For: Eubank Jr. To Liam Smith: The Miracle Was You Walking Away With a Win Over Me

Middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr. believes the win by Liam Smith in their initial encounter was a "miracle." Back in January, Smith, a former WBO junior middleweight champion, moved up in weight and dramatically knocked Eubank out in the fourth round.

Not a miracle as Liam had credentials. Now that Liam won, people will think they got it wrong and underrated Liam and overrated eubank.
Liam might be favourite now. Should be favourite in fact

Liam is favourite & the more CEJ talks the higher the odds get. As said, I think CEJ is a decent young man but he is crossing lines into being just, straight up, as mad as a hatter. What part of KTFO is hard to comprehend?

Not sure if you noticed after ref waved fight over, Chris squared up to Liam as if he wanted some more and wasn't finished? Maybe Chris thinks that deserves some kind of respect, especially so when we saw ddd quit against usyk the other day

It was a decisive outcome in the first fight, no question about that. Eubank had a good third round and then one on-the-money left uppercut made it a disastrous fourth round and that was all she wrote. Always difficult for unorthodox fighters without the solid fundamentals to come back from these kind of defeats, I feel.

The real miracle was Korobov dislocating his shoulder when Euwank was clearly headed towards defeat.

It’ll be deeply satisfying to see CEJ get put to sleep to erase all doubts and to make him eat his words. He’s been doing an awful lot of talking.

Jr sure is full of himself. IMO that won't work out so well come fight night.
I'd imagine a repeat of the last fight... maybe a UD this time for Liam...
or mid rounds KO. But no way do I see Jr winning. Looking forward to this one.
