I can see Fury being ready for this fight now - he's going to target that body exclusively. I don't know why he hasn't already taken it - there's no stiff jab thats going to KO Fury. Usyk on the other hand may ask for a larger split now - we'll see how that works outComment

Exactly! Except for the referee making terrible judgement calls during the fight that favored Usyk, Dubois should've been the new champion.
Albeit a short term reigning champion, because he doesn't have the dogged determination that's required to be a successful long term champion.

I saw the analysis from referee Jack Weiss, if correct. That's the ref who did the first Fury-Wilder fight.
Anyway, as he understands the rules, below the hip line is a low blow, not below the navel. Therefore, you can hit slightly below the navel, it's still legal.
I guess the question is, if in line with the hip line, what if half the glove lands below that and half above? It's a tricky one.Comment
