        Fighting Charles Martin is a double edged sword. He’s dangerous, but hasn’t beaten anyone of note yet. So beating him doesn’t mean much, and losing to him would be a career ending loss.

        Does anyone care that AJ beat him in 2 rounds? Does anyone care that Ortiz beat him in 6 rounds? People still make fun of Ortiz being old and not having a good resume.

        So he does nothing for any big name fighter. Because fans disregard him as a good win. So he should blame disrespectful fans, not “the Heavyweights of today”.
