If Mayweather Isnt Exciting To Watch How Come He's The Biggest Cash Cow In Boxing?

We all know Floyd has his fair share of haters on this site, which is understandable because whenever an individual reaches the top of his profession there's always gonna be bitter people throwing rocks at his thrown trying to tear him down. That comes with the territory of being a champion, especially when you're so far ahead of the rest of the competition like Floyd is.

One thing they complain about in a desperate attempt to drag him down to their favorite fighters level is "Mayweather is boring to watch" which is ironic considering millions of boxing fans spend 60$ of their hard earned money in the middle of a recession to watch him every time he gets into the ring. I guess they don't realize there's still educated boxing fans out there who appreciate masterful performances and would rather pay to see an artist do his **** in the ring at the highest level then watch 2 pretty good fighters aimlessly throw bombs at eachother until somebody goes down.

You can't argue with statistics, more people pay to see Mayweather fight then any other fighter which makes him the most entertaining in the publics eye. You can keep coming up with petty excuses to bring your favorite fighters up to his level but the monster numbers he brings in every time he fights speak for themselves.

Some pay to see him lose. But they don't realize they're still paying to see him regardless.

I don't see what the topic creator is bragging about, like 90 percent of the audience were Mexican at the Mayweather fight. Probably about the same percentage of Mexicans who went to the Vitali fight. You think those Mexican rooted for Floyd or Vitali or their Mexican counterparts?

Vitali probably could have fought in Germany against Arreola and still had a huge crowd but it would be mostly Germans instead of Mexicans... Floyd... He fights in his home country and still doesn't get many blacks going to his events. Yeah, theirs a few celebs like Kobe but Kobe goes to all the boxing events even the Vitali fight.

Thats true to an exstint Kev. They (fans) are paying to see him lose. But those fans are of his opponent. Of course they wanna see him lose. He can only do good with guys that have a good fan base. Berto isnt a big name in boxing. Nor can he sell out. If Mayweather was to fight him for a title. PPV would suck! HBO would have to pick it up. I wouldnt buy it. But I would SSM Mayweather.
