That’s the one thing I don’t understand. During his heyday, Oscar was more than willing to fight anyone at or around his weight class. But now he seems very reluctant to match his fights vs even mid range contenders.
I think its just the difference between being the guy wanting the money when he was a boxer vs being the guy spending the money now that he's the promoter. I think promoters are always gonna be more risk averse than boxers esp boxers with a high skill level.
