I seen a thread about if Cotto should retire if he loses to Pacquiao, and most of you said "Cause of 2 losses???"

I think it's beyond "Cause of two losses".

And I think he did a big mistake for discrediting Pacquiao's win over Hatton by calling Hatton overrated.

If he gets KTFO by Pacquiao(no matter what round) he's still got KTFO by Pacquiao, a former featherweight but that's not the problem cause everyone knows Pacquiao IS a great fighter and that's why Cotto is underdog and many think he'll get stopped by this former Featherweight.

So idk, although i want Cotto to win, I think he pretty much set himself up to look like a fool and join Ricky Hatton, in his own list that he made for Hatton, the overrated fighters list.

I give Pacquiao full credit for a beating a tough fighter like Hatton the way he did, and I think Cotto should have said this same thing also. That Hatton was a great win, but now if Pacman knocks the F out...well...Cotto shot himself in the foot.
Hatton was a great fighter up until Mayweather cracked his egg. Pacquiao overdid it a little bit. I think Pacquiao thought it was gonna be harder than it actually was...

Cotto is a better fighter than Hatton ever was, even if he loses he'll make a better account of himself than Hatton did.

Cotto called Ricky Hatton overrated because that was the cold hard truth,Hatton made a career off of one win over a faded, inactive champion and that was it.

He was never the best at 140 either. He never had the resume and accomplishments that Cotto had at 140 and he turned down a fight with Mayweather at 140 also.

Timothy bradley has been the best at 140 ever since he beat Juinor Witter(the man Hatton has avoided for eight years)and you can bet that Hatton want's absolutely nothing to do with him and Devon Alexander as he knows he would lose and get embarrased in the process.

I'm in the neutral if cotto and hatton have ever made in 140lbs i would favor hatton on their style match, up because of the speed. hatton was so much faster on footwork compared to cotto he could easily grapple cotto to his advantage. cotto need some space to get his offence and that's the thing he couldn't do to hatton.

Hatton is and always has been overrated. A fight between him and Cotto wouldnt even be competitive. Hatton has been making the same mistakes and paying for them since he was very young in his career. Come forward with your hands down, block punches with your face, thats the approach that Hatton has taken in a lot of his fights, eventually he was going to get knocked out.

I can't blame Cotto for calling Hatton overrated, because Hatton knew that Cotto would beat him and never gave him his shot. That's one reason why I don't give Cotto too much criticism for winning a vacant belt at 140 even though it was against a bum. I do give Cotto criticism for waiting for Paul Williams to move up and then winning the vacant WBO title.

Cotto would've beaten Ricky Hatton very handily and likely make it a short night.
