Not really. Hatton is not the big puncher people make him out to be. Malignaggi said Cotto's power is way way way way way way way better than Hatton's. Hatton comes straight up with no defence at all and he also is not that big to give Cotto problems with the pressure.

Cotto is a full-fledged top WW who started at 140, if he can't KO a fighter who was fighting at Featherweight last year then he should retire.

If Cotto came up from lower weights like Pacquiao then yeah a Decision would be fine. But he didn't.

ok the problem i have with that opinion is that manny is no longer a feather weight. he is a jrW. the second issue is that if you say that a win against manny is not by ko then you are implying that manny is not as great as people say coz he should be ko'ed by cotto who many say is damaged goods.
Third, what you said really applies more to pbf because marquez was a lightweight this year and pbf did not ko him. saying that it was a tune up does not stand when compared against cotto because cotto came out of almost a year off after margarito and ko jennings.
