Cotto hasn't got a lot of respect for Hatton. That was before the Pacquiao fight came along.

Yep you guys are right, that's why Arum didn't want to put Cotto anywhere near Hatton at 140.

First of all he said the truth and second if he were to lose it doesn't make him overated, because he got hurt real hard by plasterito and then fought another real tough opponent in Clottey. Add that to his battles with zap judah and mosley and thats a lot of punishment for a guy who has fought the toughest fighters out there.

Cotto can't avoid getting hit like Mayweather or Pacquiao he doesn't have their speed and he needed his toughness to win battles, but like most fighters that fight and slug it out that only last for a certain time until it catches up to you. It happen to Erik Morales after many grueling battles with barreras it happen to Gatti and it will continue to happen. So defense is a key, stamina and smart offense to be able to hold out from getting hurt again.

Yeah Kev, he kind of did put himself in a bad position both saying what he did abut Hatton and fighting Pac. If he loses it looks bad regardless because he lost to a smaller man and if he gets blasted out in similar fashion it makes him look to be on Hatton's level which he himself considers overrated.
