I'm not sure to be honest but I'd imagine most would offer some sort of stamina/cardio benefit. For example if a fighter says he has a condition like asthma (the consultation with the Dr could literally be a brief chat and quick physical exam or of course the Dr could be corrupt in the first instance) he would be prescribed drugs which would definitely aid his performance in a fight. Even things like blood pressure medication are going to help a fighter perform better.

You can see there is clearly a potential use of these "medications" there for muscle-bound and aging fighters.
