The welterweight division's once murky waters are now crystal clear. Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford were the talk of the town. For years on end, they both claimed that they were the best 147-pounders on the planet. But someone had to separate themselves. On July 29th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the two finally squared off.

So why not do your part and either file a petition with the ibf OR make a fight with Stannionis?

He just needs some notable wins over the next crop of top welters, looks like Spence is going to 154 and Crawford is on to big money fights only for the rest of his career.

I'd like to see them get their shot. It'd be another good win on Bud's resume

Doesn't apply in this case. Crawford is no longer with Arum.
Terence Bud Crawford can now be on any side of the street.

It's Boots that is on the wrong side of the street. Why would Haymon give him a shot? He's trying to get Ugas and Thurman easy belts

What about Stanionis? I don't think Haymon has control over him.
Otherwise, he would not have allowed him to fight on a ESPN card, which was scrapped due to Ortiz's illness.
Stanionis was available for long periods of time before Ortiz filed a petition. Uncle Al could have given him a stay-busy fight.
