Sam and his two sons are cool ass people and treated me and my wife like true VIPs. Sam has always been very accomodating to me. He is essentially Haymons right hand man.

People view him as a "suck-up". That is an infantile perspective. He is a trusted advisor to many fighters and he is in the people business.

Just get tired of seeing him behind Buffer before every introduction and behind every fighter with his sons during the interviews trying to get air time. I'm glad he's a nice guy but I don't need to see his mug every time I'm watching HBO boxing.
