This. I still remember after a fight, at ringside, some announcer asked spence about fighting crawford (like 2 yrs ago) and spence said he wanted it. And the camera zoomed to crawford (sitting down a few rows) and he just sort of grinned awkwardly and looked sheepish and didnt say anything.

I dont know what that was, but to me it looked like Spence had his heart.

Crawford a great fighter but has a somber personality if compared to Sugar Ray Leonard, Pacquiao and others. He's smiling & joking more now though so that will help.

LOL I never became fans of Pacquiao and srl because of them smiling and making jokes. I loved them because they fought like badasses in that ring! crawford is stoic. It's a shame that these guys have to turn into sideshow freaks to get noticed. that fighting skills/style alone isn't enough.

Mean Machine was probably his strongest opp there, the dude was the only one to drop Bud if they counted that knockdown.

Benavidez almost went the full 12 rounds with Bud too.

that's why Top Rank fighters 9 times out of 10 beat pbc fighters and usually they do it easily. Seriously go check out the record when they fight. I think there is something to that. We all know that as long as crawford was with Top Rank the pbc fighters would never face him. So he went the free agent route. You can see the pbc shills on here are trying to do the same with shakur stevenson. the difference is that pbc does not have a lock on the lightweight or super lightweight divisions so that crap won't work.
