this fight needs to made at 140 or 135. it goes both ways. paulie deserves a rematch but diaz tech won so in reality he doesnt need to give him a rematch. he has bigger opportunities out there for him. beating paulie in a rematch does nothing to boost him career. he has everything to lose and nothing to gain. as a fan i wanna see paulie get his rematch. but as a fighter you have to look at the big picture. if i were diaz i would move on to other fights

this is a business move. diaz has other offers and beating paulie in a rematch doesnt raise his stock higher than it is now. he has to look at what is best for him and his fam and i guess he believes fighting paulie isnt the best option.

Paulie won the first fight but no one is interested in this fight. This would be a waste of money for HBO and their brilliant match makers. I'd be more interested in Vitali V Johnson even though I'm not that interested in that either. A triple header of Jacobs, Ortiz, and someone else would be a much better investment for HBO IMO.
