i just saw the demarcus corley fight in puerto rico. corley had cotto hurt a couple of times, sure enough low blow came corley's way. I remember the judah fight same thing happend. that corley fight was stopped prematurely by a hometown puerto rican referee.

All body punchers are prone to hit below the belt occasionally...it happens. I can't really say if Cotto would resort to this. I will say i don't think he needs to, and will say he shouldn't do it on purpose if he does get into trouble, and that i HOPE he wouldn't do such a thing on purpose, so i didn't vote.

I don't think his statement saying he'll do whatever it takes to win meant that, but i can't speak for another person. Just trying to be objective. Although I'm a big time Cotto fan, i realize the guy has faults, just like we all have. Will he capitalize (abuse) his "faults" in the ring? i hope not. I want a fair, clean fight, with no headbutts, low-blows, performance inhibitting cuts for both guys, and to have them both at their best.
