Clottey vs Quintana is Close For December 5 on HBO

BoxingScene.com has heard, from both sides, that a deal is very close to being finalized for Carlos Quintana to fight Joshua Clottey in the co-feature position to Kelly Pavlik-Paul Williams on December 5 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Kendall Holt was offered the opportunity to fight Clottey. He turned it down in favor of taking a December title eliminator against Herman Ngoudjo. [details]

I'm not really a fan of Clottey's but Quintana needs to come correct here and realize that he isn't worth that much. Clottey deserves the bigger purse split, and Quintana shouldn't cry about it.
