Taylor had the potential to be a great fighter but his arrogance got the better of him. It was obvious after Catteral he needed to move up but stuck around out of pride and ego.

You can tell he doesn't like fighting anymore, the guy will never be a factor again.

Sounds like a bunch of excuses. He hasn't looked good for more than a couple of fights now.
Taylor will move up to 147 if Crawford moves to 154

That's his fault for taking such a long hiatus from fighting top boxers. Bs-ing and taking low level fights gave him as much ring rust as Spence.

Based on his last 2 outings it's clear that Taylor has simply reached father time, which I thought was a possibility.. let's be real White boxers usually hit the wall around 29-31. Particularly those from England. Think George Groves who's still only 35 today and Andy Lee. Genetic makeup plays a role. Generally only white boxers of Russian, German or Ukrainian descent last the longest with the exception of maybe Fury and ole Joe who didn't overly rely too much on athleticism..

It's the same thing with boxers like Khan people of Pakistani descent bodies aren't built for punishment toll boxing puts the body thru hence why his chin was always shaky and body looked like it wanted to or did shut down on him mid fights the older he got..

There is a reason why most of the greatest boxers are the descendant of ****** because alot of the weak died or were lynched back in the grueling process of the slave trade and were even bred like horses for physical traits..promoters know this it's deep

I say all that to say JT days are done as a top boxer..

It’s tuff for ALL FIGHTERS to admit they’re just getting old cause your brain still feels young but your body just doesn’t cooperate.
I know a man who went to Thailand when he was 65 years old. He got 2 women over a weekend. On Monday he was literally in the ER LOL. True story.
Your mind and your body are very different things. It’s tuff for all of us to admit we are not what we once were.
