He didn’t “allow” Inoue to become the A-side. Financial realities did that.

And there were no bigger, more lucrative fights for Fulton than Inoue.

the monster inoue will knock fulton out at featherweight and take any titles from him just like he did at super bantamweight. inoue is several levels above him plus we've seen how inoue performs in rematches. donaire gave inoue the toughest fight of his career in their first fight and in the rematch inoue did not even break a sweat in knocking out donaire in two rounds. fulton is delusional haha.

To many areas where Inoue is just plain better, Fulton can never beat him, he is better to rebuild his career in other directions away from Inoue, he can still do good being runner-up.

He won't he's already damaged goods to the American fan base and any promoter won't look for a second rate fighter. His choices are fight and lose or win fights no one cares about and become irrelevant outside his hometown.

I been making that argument since the fight was announced. So many casuals were screaming "Fulton is the A side, This fight should be in the USA"

Fulton wanted to get paid. If this fight is in the USA, it's going to have 2500 die hard boxing fans watching it. If it's in Japan, it sells out a 55,000 seat stadium

The same Americans who say "boxing doesn't start until 135lbs" are the same ones who are mad this fight wasn't in the USA. They wouldn't have ****ing gone to it anyways

Fulton would have never made that money against anyone else.
