I mean we know galal is way above this level it was a mismatch. Frank was a guy who was stopped in his last fight for the British title and in the fight before drew with a guy who was 8-28-2. Soon as this fight was announced I thought it was strange matchmaking because they give the big talk that galal was ready to challenge for world titles in a couple fights after his debut which he wasn't but fighting guys who are English title level is not great matchmaking either

        Haha yeah

Eddie Hearn is about 6'5, Bellew must be 6'3 and with an even taller guy next to him

Not the guys you want to be stood next to when you're a flyweight

Yeah that's the kinda level he should be at. He's 30 years old he's beyond this English level/British level that Tommy Frank is. It's like they was saying he was ready for these bigger fights but now it's like they've pulled the reigns in an dropped him to a level he's way beyond.

He just debuted recently. They have to start somewhere. We talked about it on the podcast - some people on social media were giving Frank a chance and we're like, uh, no.

                  Yeah

I think Frank was probably a step back from where he had been fighting but maybe that split decision gave them a bit of a scare and decided not rush him too much but he's way beyond the level of Frank. Doesn't need any more of those fights.

they should be able to keep him active, so even if they can get him out once or twice before the end of the year against solid European guys and then try to get some sort of upper European/ fringe world level fights early next year. Then build him up to world title level by the end of next year or early 2025

I think that would be a realistic timeline for his ability and age and that probably gets him another five good fights before he gets to world title level.
