  • Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis' Trainer Views Pitbull Cruz as Current Leading Candidate

Gervonta Davis hasn't fought three times in a calendar year since 2019. But while his schedule often restricts him to just one or two appearances, 2023 could be a different story.

I thought the first one was great. Good clash of styles. Cruz looked like a mad man in there.

Since Haney is going to 140, I expect the WBA to consolidate the WBA title. Tank has the "Regular" and Pitbull is WBA #2, so it only makes sense! The only fight I wanna see @ 135, is Tank vs. Shakur! Hopefully Shakur gets the WBC, and Tank gets the WBA, and we get a unification fight! Dear Bob: "IT WILL NOT FLOP!"

Shakur has been looking for a dance partner, that fight would sell well. I am not interested in a Cruz fight.

Shakur Stevenson isn’t fighting Lomachenko actually.

Why doesn’t baby nuts Tank fight Shakur instead of Pitbull Cruz again?

Lmfao at them releasing this as if there was some surprise or other fight planned. We’ve known this all along.

The fight that’s best for the sport and the division is Tank v Shakur. PBC will never make that fight as long as Shakur is with Arum.

I wish Floyd or Ellerbee would publicly say this so Shakur can start the process to get away from TR.

Ngl. Pittbull has the skills and keys to take it to the next level. However, personally, i thought his last fight was full of lack luster. Sure, he won, got his rounds, did his job like he was supposed to do. But it lacked that 'flare' or the same explosiveness he had vs. GTD. Either way, as always, styles make fights So it really depends on his management team and corner to get him on the right path. Because Isaac Cruz is a dog. He'll fight anyone you put in front of him. But sometimes in prizefighting that might not be the best strategy. I would rate his last performance a C-

Pit bull is complete trash. Wish he would go away forever.
