Thaxtons arguing it shouldn't have been stopped. I like the fella but the guy talks too much outside the ring.

'Mezaache didn't deserve to take the EU belt off me, Tom Glover was too heavy, this one shouldn't have been stopped.'

        Cry me a river.

Sorry, laptop crashed. Yeah...Thaxton stopped in round 4. Referee saved him on his feet. Good stoppage.

Murray looked strong. Thaxton looked weak. That's pretty much the story of it.

IMO it was a very premature stoppage. This is boxing for God's sake, knockdowns and knockouts are a part of the game.

The referee denied Thaxton the right to go out on his shield or possibly even turn the fight around. It was becoming one sided but it was still entertaining and clearly not at the point you sometimes get to where it's difficult to watch one guy taking such a beating. Thaxton looked weak but he still had his wits about him.

BTW, I thought Thaxton deserved the nod in both the Mezaache and Glover fights.

I thought the stoppage was a bit premature, good fight though.

I understand what you guys are saying, yeah. Maybe you're right. I just didn't want to see Thaxton get hurt, and I didn't think he would get off the ropes if the ref hadn't stopped it.
