I imagine, Alvarez is referred to as the bigger man because boxing operates on weight classes not height. Therefore, weight is the defining factor in who's the bigger man.

Charlo is like Spence, they are both big guys with the ability to shrink down but that's not going to help Charlo at 168. Charlo isn't pushing Canelo back and Canelo is the better boxer and he's stronger because he shrinks his stubby ass down from 175lbs. What I'm saying is Jermell Charlo was picked for a reason and he may fight for 6 rounds but don't be surprised if he take a body shot, a knee, and done by the 7th.
