He should fight another 2 times before fighting for a title, not just for deserving reasons but also to get him in even better shape. I heard Meehan is interested in Tua, and they have also plans to fight Rahman. Meehan is good ranked in the rankings. Let Tua fight Rahman in december, Meehan in March and then he will be ready for Haye/Valuev in June.
Get David Tua the Valuev vs Haye winner.

Lets not forget the devastating 11th round KO over a young fresh maskiev.Originally posted by CarnivoreAnd Tua has an excellent heavyweight resume: KO wins over Moorer, Rahman, Ruiz, etc.
Without a doubt, Tua is more deserving than Haye!
And he didn't need a referee's help in defeating Cameron, like Haye had against Barrett (ref didn't count Barrett's knockdown, called a rabbit punch knockdown from Haye and a push down from Haye legal knockdowns, let Haye rabbit punch and hit while holding as much as he wanted, etc).

I agree that Haye is undeserving of a title shot.Originally posted by CarnivoreWho has Haye beaten at heavyweight, besides an old, shot Barrett with the help of his home referee?
Let's not forget, Haye was losing to past-prime Mormeck, he'd been knocked down and was hurt when he resorted to rabbit punching to survive.
I guess its just boxing feels that Haye could give the heavyweight division some light.Comment

You think Tua could stop Valuev late, going to the body? I know that Tua could rip Valuev apart on the inside, doesn't have to be to the head and Valuev doesn't have the foot speed to avoid this.I'm not sure if Tua could reach Valuev's chin.
They said Tua will fighting Rahman next, which is a bit of shame, but they said it'll happen before the end of the year. I don't mind that so much, Tua needs to get more active now that he has gotten rid of his former manager and Shane Cameron.Comment
