Comments Thread For: David Benavidez Believes He's Too Big and Too Strong For Demetrius Andrade

David Benavidez has spent most of his career taking on the bottom feeders of the super middleweight division. That, of course, was never his intent. For the 26-year-old, he simply wanted to face the best of the best. Now, things are finally falling into place.

Hopefully this fight gets made. If Benavides wins he has the strongest case to be Canelo's next foe. He would have the momentum and it would be a huge fight. Also it depends how Canelo does and looks against Charlo.

Andrade is trash, Benavidez will batter him.

He has had the strongest case for 2 years but that does not matter to Canelo. Clowns still think Canelo cares about merit, its about cherry picking for him. 40 year old GGG, Ryder, Charlos, all soft targets.

Very important for both of their careers. Nobody wants to tangle with them so its great that they are fighting each other

The winner of this matchup should be viewed as the number one contender in the division. The reward for the victory should be an immediate shot at any title....No one should be allowed to duck, dodge, etc...

              "I am too big"

That's the most shameless statement from weight bully sons of b!tches today. Andrade is already huge dosser. If you're too big for Andrade, why are you still at 168?

I hope Canelo gonna end all of those hypejobs before his retirement.

I've been wanting this fight happen for a while. Unfortunately Benavides lost his titles twice. I don't see anyone else in the landscape that would be a huge fight that would attract the masses.

The third GGG was way too late and I don't like that they are dragging Charlo 2 weight classes up. His hands were full against Castano and it will be worse against Canelo.

Man I agree ! It’ll be tough for Benny to find sparring partners that can mimic what Andrade does in the ring. People crap on him all the time, but he has some wild angles and displays good power. Also I believe Andrade’s movement might trouble Benny. I think Andrade wins, unless he loses steam down the back stretch. I actually think Andrade will punish him.
