Pac has a better defense than most people give him and Cotto is faster than some give him credit for. The fact is: Pac will be attacking at a very fast pace and I believe (my opinion, not any fact here) that Pac will be able to counter Cotto when he throws the left hook with a straight right. Cotto should fight as close to Pac as he can and not try to measure him up because the speed will be too much.

Cotto's jab will be the best weapon to keep Manny from landing too many punches in a row. He might need to be throwing 100 plus jabs per round because, as I've seen mentioned by others, Cotto does not seem to like or be able to tie up too much on the inside- he fights his way out of the situation.

Great fight, pretty close skill matchup in lieu of the speed advantage for Pacman, best fight of the year by far (as far as anticipation, for me at least)

No they don't. Why are you exaggerating? Anyone with eyes can see Pacquiao's defense isn't the best in the world. Again, nobody said his defense was incredible.

You know what? Cotto's defense isn't great either. He leans in with his head which is ****ing ridiculous (see the Clottey fight) and leaves a gap for shots straight down the pipe, plus he's still vulnerable to uppercuts.

The one I am talking about is a new article that came out since his most recent spar session, in which he'd adjusted his timing and appears to be back on form.
