Malignaggi has always called it as it is. He was then accused of being racist and got fired from his Showtime job. I’ve seen what he said and read what he said as well. There was absolutely nothing he said that was racist in anyway at all.

At the time he made that statement he was probably right but even if he wasn't, is it right that he lost his job because he had an opinion that some people disagreed with? If you're a tv personality of some type nowadays you can't say anything that would offend the overly sensitive, docile masses who can't handle that somebody might see things different than they do. It permeates all aspects of modern society not just boxing or sports.
